• To apply for a visa, you must first fill out the online visa application form on the France-visas website.

• Make sure there is no mistake on the application form. If you need to correct some information, you must do so online and fill out a new form.

• Handwritten forms and application forms not obtained from France-visas are not accepted.

• Applicants applying for Austria, Czech Republic and Portugal have to follow the same procedure.

Due to a large number of OFII and OFPRA applicants who don’t answer this Embassy’s repeated emails and phone calls aimed at receiving them to process their files, we kindly request all OFII, OFPRA applicants who received approval before 2023 from the competent French Authorities and who are expecting an appointment in order to submit visa file at the Embassy, to send an e-mail to this address.

Please write < OFII/OFPRA contact update > in the subject line.

The above mentioned email from the applicant should contain the following information :

1. OFII/OFPRA reference number ( if any )
2. Name of the applicant in France
3. Name of Spouse
4. Phone Number
5. E-mail address

Please write your contact details correctly and make sure that the Embassy can reach you both by phone and e-mail. This is indeed necessary for the applicants to be given an appointment. The e-mail requesting an appointment does not need to be sent more than once. It will be followed by the Embassy’s response as quickly as possible.
