Economic Department

The Economic Department of the Embassy of France in Bangladesh forms part of the international network of the Ministry of Economy and Finance and comes under the Directorate General of the Treasury, which frames economic policy at the national, European and international levels.

Its mandate consists of informing the State, public authorities and companies about international economic, commercial and financial matters concerning Bangladesh. It also involves promoting the interests of France in Bangladesh and contributing to the discharge of the missions of the Directorate General of the Treasury.
