The French International School of Dhaka (EFID)

The school was created in 1987, located in the diplomatic district of Baridhara and built on the grounds of the French Embassy.

Its primary mission is to provide education in accordance with the official programs of the Ministry of Education in France.

These programs ensure that children have the opportunity to pursue a school curriculum in France, in all public or private educational establishments under contract, and in all other French educational establishments abroad.

This education also allows you to join, after obtaining the French baccalaureate, French higher education schools or universities but also large establishments in most countries around the world.

It is headed by a French director seconded from the Ministry of Education. The school is inspected every year by a National Education inspector and meets the approval criteria of the French Ministry of Education.

EFID is the only approved establishment in the network of the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) in Bangladesh.

With its 522 schools located in 139 countries, the AEFE is by far the largest international school network in the world.

Choosing EFID means choosing an establishment on a human scale that maintains a family spirit, while having ambition.

The ambition to maintain excellence in the reception of students and families and in the educational offer, in teaching, in the results of national exams. EFID students again this year obtained 100% success in the college certificate and the baccalaureate.

The ambition is, also, to offer a multicultural environment.

At Primary level, language teaching has been enriched with the establishment of language courses and the system for welcoming new French-speaking students. They thus benefit from the excellence of French education.

From 1st Grade (CP), students have the possibility of joining a British International Section, which constitutes a bilingual and bicultural system.

This prepares our students for the International French baccalaureate diploma, part of which can be taken in English.

Another major project will further add greatly to the establishment of value: a real estate project and an extension of the establishment.

The success of each of our students, satisfaction in the work accomplished, progress, the multicultural environment, individual development, the construction of citizenship, the eco-responsible approach are at the heart of the action and the mobilization of EFID educational and administrative teams.

The School welcomes children from the age of two, and offers an adapted and differentiated teaching model.

The teaching provided ensures that all students achieve results recognized throughout the world and in particular in all French schools.
