What is Erasmus Mundus ?

Erasmus Mundus is a cooperation and mobility programme in the field of higher education.

The programme offers prestigious scholarships to enable students from around the world to engage in studies in Europe. Many programmes are offered in France.

In 2014, 116 Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees are inviting applications for scholarships for programmes in September 2015 in 6 categories:

  • Agriculture and Veterinary
  • Humanities and Arts
  • Engineering, Manufacture and Construction
  • Science, Mathematics and Computing
  • Health and Welfare
  • Social Sciences, Business and Law

Students worldwide can apply for a scholarship, provided they have an excellent academic record.

Erasmus Mundus scholarships cover tuition fees, travel and living costs in Europe throughout the whole stay of the student.

The number of scholarships awarded each year is increasing, giving more and more students a chance to live and study in Europe.

Students apply directly to the programmes of their choice.

Here is how it works:

- Go to the Erasmus Mundus website.

- Find and click on the academic discipline you are interested in. A list of programmes throughout Europe will appear for you to select.

- Within the list of programmes offered, choose the ones that suit your needs. Each programme has its own website with application tools. All you have to do then is apply !

- Make sure you read the application and admission requirements of your chosen programme carefully.
