Photo Competition 2016 - "Objectif Sport! "
Bangladesh won the second prize in the International Photo Competition 2016 - "Objectif Sport! (Goal Sport!) " organized by Alliance Française Foundation, Paris.
Mr. Mohammed Reaz UDDIN from Alliance Française, Dhaka-Bangladesh won the second prize in the International Photo Competition 2016 - "Objectif Sport! (Goal Sport!) " organized by Alliance Française Foundation, Paris.
On March 4, the Fondation Alliance Française (French Alliance Foundation) proposed the network of Alliance Française to participate in the 2016 edition of the International Photo Contest "Objectif Sport! (Goal Sport!)". The Foundation asked participants to frame a picture that best depicts the sport in their country.
103 French Alliances 50 different countries participated in this edition. On 25 May, members of the Parisian jury met to nominate the best candidates. The jury was composed of FrançoiseHuguier jury president, Francis Khon, cinematography AFP Luc Briand, head of iconographic Mail Service international, Agnes Gregory, editor of Photo magazine, Anne of Roussière, director of gallery Arcturus and Christophe Pete’s Janvier laboratory.
Jury members were particularly focused on the photographic quality of the shots. Beyond this criterion, they also evaluated the photographs in terms of expressing the core values of sport, tolerance, openness, social inclusion, team cohesion and to the representation of the singular practices related to traditions.
This year, around 206 photos were received from different Alliance Française. Amongst all the photographs of all the participants, second prize has been won by Mr. Mohammed Reaz UDDIN from Alliance Française, Dhaka-Bangladesh jointly with Mr. Aurabh KUMAR Alliance Française, Hyderabad- India.
The collective exhibition "Sport Purpose" will be presented at the Alliance Française Foundation from July 5 to August 18, 2016. It will be available in Alliance Française from July 18 in its cloud version from September 12 in the version "turnkey".
