Franco-Bangladesh Association of Scholars and Trainees
The Franco-Bangladesh Association of Scholars and Trainees (FBAST) was created in 1994 to bring together former Bangladeshi scholars and trainees of the French government in order to promote and develop cooperation between France and Bangladesh.
Today, it has around 60 members, and endeavours to keep this network alive by regularly organizing meetings, cultural events, and seminars. FBAST has published a directory of its members, and edits booklets following each seminar.
FBAST President, Prof. Dr. Akramullah Sikder (firstname.lastname@example.org), was elected at the last General Assembly meeting in October 2013.
