ENS International Selection Procedure

The École normale supérieure (ENS) is awarding two to three-year grants to outstanding international students wishing to complete a Master’s degree in the fields of Sciences, and Arts and Humanities.


ENS, the highest-rated French institution in international university rankings, is a prestigious French teaching and research institution. Amongst its alumni are 12 Nobel Prize laureates, 10 recipients of the Fields Medal and half of CNRS Gold Medal winners.

As part of the international selection, monthly grants of 1000 euros are offered to promising young students worldwide, for a duration of 2 to 3 years. 60 different programs are available across 15 departments, both in the Sciences and the Humanities.
