Cross Perspectives from France and Bangladesh on the Arab Spring

Alliance Française de Dhaka has invited French leading intellectuals Abdelwahab Meddeb and Stephanie Latte Abdallah to discuss the Arab Spring with their Bangladeshi counterparts during a conference debate hosted by the University of Dhaka on November 20th.

Besides, on Monday, November 19th at 6.00pm, at the AFD Auditorium leading French intellectual, radio personality and poet Abdelwahab Meddeb will be reading some Sufi poems from Ibn Arabi and commenting upon them. He will be joined by famous Bangladeshi Poet Kaiser Haq and members of The Writers’ Block, who will also read out from their works.

On November 23rd, the Franco-Lebanon musician, Abaji, will be performing at 6.00pm at Bokul Tola, FFA, Dhaka Unviersity.
