Bridging Climate Change and Development
France will host the 21st International Conference of Parties, COP 21, in December 2015. Indeed, for France, as well as for the Embassy of France to Dhaka, climate issues are the priority for this year.
In May 2015, in collaboration with the French Development Agency and the Alliance française of Dhaka, the Embassy of France in Dhaka will organize two events centered on climate change issues, which will take place respectively at the Alliance Française of Dhaka from May 16th to May 23rd, and at the Alliance Française of Chittagong on the 30th of May.
Among the events scheduled in each of our two Alliances, there will be : exhibitions, films and round tables addressing the following issues : the link between climate change and development, local solutions specific to Bangladesh and the role of the private sector in the fight against climate change.
