Alliances en résonance/Le Bangladesh à Paris

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Bangladesh Independence, a month-long cultural event titled "Alliances en résonance/Le Bangladesh à Paris" will be inaugurated on the 31st of March at Fondation Alliance française, Paris, by the Finance Minister, Mr. AMA Muhith, by the Minister of information and cultural affairs, Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, and by the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Mohamed Mijarul Quayes.

This event, which will present contemporary art and culture of Bangladesh in the city of Paris, will be composed of :

» A photograph exhibition presenting Bangladeshi contemporary photographers
From 31st March to 30th April 2011

Open from Monday to Thursday from 8.00am to 8.00pm and on Friday from 8.00am to 6.30pm

» Heritage and craft exhibitions: Fabrics, embroidery, tapestry, and jute materials

Open to the public from Monday to Saturday from 2.00 pm to 7.00 pm
